  • “We held a first-time corporate appreciation gala to honor our direct support staff who are the lifeblood of our community. The event was held on a Sunday evening (in our auditorium). With Marylyn’s talent and recommendations, the event space was transformed into an elegant five-star hall. Guests were in awe! She meticulously set up a computer-generated table diagram, worked with our dining management to rent proper equipment, consistently followed up on the open items we accepted responsibility to provide. Her recommendation for flowers and a DJ was top notch. I’ve never planned an event let alone an event for 200 guests (that I see daily!)   • “The Greenwich Choral Society had a special celebration event for over 200 guests and hired Juste Hors D’Oeuvres and Much More! Catering to handle the event. They provided hot and cold hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts over several hours. They also set up in a high school kitchen for their hours of local preparation work and took care of all post event cleanup associated with their service. We couldn’t have been more pleased! Not only was the food delicious, but the catering staff was exemplary. They had a difficult task because the kitchen was far away from the participants, but the grace with which they managed this challenge is commendable. And I can’t say enough good things about the food. Each dish was special, fresh and beautiful. We received many wonderful complements from our special guests on how much they enjoyed the food, and how friendly and professional the service staff were. We can’t wait to have another event when we can use Juste Hors D’Oeuvres again.”

We used a rental company for a tent and all equipment necessary and all I had to do was tell Marylyn what our vision was and she coordinated everything with them!   • “My wife had a large international conference in her field here in New York and we decided to invite some of her working colleagues for an evening with wine and some Hors D’Oeuvres. As our upper west side apartment is rather small therefore we actually needed to have 2 consecutive evenings for this catering.
    Chef Blythe and Lisa were absolute delights. They arrived punctually both nights and brought all needed things with them – including the nice variety of food menu items we had selected. They worked in the kitchen (some of the items were warm items) and made sure that we could focus on the guests (and wine pouring :). They also got special recognition from the highly international group of guests for their great preparation of food. I also appreciate the way all was cleaned afterward and the efficient way of collecting all the necessary things they brought. Being already tired late in the evening, this was very much appreciated. Hint: The lamb and the zucchini fritters got special recognition (the latter including me :). Overall a great experience. Thank you all!”
